EVIL EYE: PREMIUM ITALIAN GIN {THESIS}

The visual concept of this label is inspired by the ancient Italian superstition,Malocchio (evil eye).

The evil eye is form of black magic, believed to cause misfortune, by way of a malevolent or jealous glare. In old Europe, horned animals were considered sacred and seen as protective beings against the evil eye.

The visual branding of Evil Eye pays homage to the European reverence of horned animals; each label is thus adorned by a highly decorative horned beast. Evil Eye’s wordmark is designed with a conceptually characterized ‘V’. The letter’s serifs suggest animal horns and the added eye, is inspired by an eye shaped talisman worn to deflect the dark magic.

Regardless of your belief in the superstition, Evil Eye: Premium Italian Gin is a taste to envy.
