THE B-SIDE

A collection of works driven by experimentation with media, style, and subject matter

SELF PORTRAIT – MARK VII

An exercise in observation and stylization.

I like to revisit self-portraiture every few years as a way of documenting growth and to capture moments when I feel my visual language shift.

HERALDER
A playfully inaccurate rendering of Hermes, herald of the gods and guide of departed souls, enjoying a moment of respite with Cerberus, the three-headed (Italian greyhound) guardian of the Underworld.

INTUITION

A visual serving as a personal reminder:

Intuition is a mysterious yet powerful tool. We may not always understand the instincts we feel but the palpability of the sensation – the gut feeling – should be treated as a guide.

The words on the illustration read: “When intuition screams from somewhere in the depths of yourself, follow its beacon… how foolish to deafen its loudness.”

COSMIC INCARNATE

A personification of the cosmos; born out of my endless fascination (and lack of understanding) of outer space.

TRINAGLE TRILOGY

A triptych of collaged landscapes focused on reducing form to basic shapes (namely triangles), colours, and textures.
